The Riverside Rangers had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 28.3 points), and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They were the clear victor by a  58-32 margin over Mountain View. With Riverside ahead  35-8 at the half, the  matchup was all but over already.
 Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Riverside to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Carlos D Rojas, who  scored 15 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points  D Rojas has scored all season.  Marcus Jauregui was another key contributor,  scoring 14 points.
 Several Lobos players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Jesus  " gio" Rodriguez, who  scored five points along with five  rebounds and three  steals. Rodriguez also  posted two+  blocks for the first time this season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Julian Escobedo, who  scored 13 points along with two  blocks.
 Riverside's win bumped their record up to 10-15. As for Mountain View, their loss dropped their record down to 7-18.
 Riverside will look to defend their home court  on Tuesday against San Elizario at 6:00  p.m. As for Mountain View, they will head out on the road to  challenge  Fabens on Tuesday. Fabens has now lost eight straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 14.
