 For Wauwatosa East's part,  Cassie Krause made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  scored a  run and  stole two bases while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of  Masey Viste, who  went 2-for-3 with a  double and  an  RBI.
 Germantown has  been performing  well recently as they've  won four of their last five games,  which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record  this season. As for Wauwatosa East, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost three of their last four contests,  which put a noticeable dent in their 7-9-1 record  this season.
 Germantown will be playing in front of their home fans against Divine Savior Holy Angels at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Germantown will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak  alive. As for Wauwatosa East, they will head out on the road to  challenge  Hamilton at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Hamilton will be hoping to continue their four-game streak of scoring more  runs each  matchup than the last.
