Toll Gate is 3-0 against Central Falls since January of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Toll Gate Titans will be playing at home against the Central Falls Warriors at 6:30 p.m. Toll Gate is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 60.2 points per game this season.
On Monday, Toll Gate was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 60-54 to Ponaganset. The defeat continues a trend for the Titans in their matchups with the Chieftains: they've now lost three in a row.

Despite their loss, Toll Gate saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Liam Leahy, who posted 15 points in addition to eight boards and five assists, was perhaps the best of all. Those eight boards gave Leahy a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Anthony Merola, who had six points.
Meanwhile, Central Falls scored the most points they've had this season last Monday, but it wasn't enough. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting West Warwick an easy 87-64 victory. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game two weeks ago (63), the Warriors still had to take the loss.
Like Central Falls, they lost despite seeing results from several players. Sire Hazard led the charge by going 6 of 15 on his way to 18 points along with eight assists and six boards. Hazard is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Leandro Rojas Vargas, who put up 18 points and six rebounds.
Even though they lost, Central Falls smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive rebounds in five consecutive matchups.
Toll Gate's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 4-2. As for Central Falls, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.
Some high-performance offense is likely on the agenda as both are some of the highest scoring teams in the league. Toll Gate hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having averaged 60.2 points per game. However, it's not like Central Falls struggles in that department as they've been averaging 55 points. With both teams so easily able to put up points, the only question left is who can run the score up higher.
Toll Gate was able to grind out a solid win over Central Falls in their previous meeting back in February of 2020, winning 68-55. Does Toll Gate have another victory up their sleeve, or will Central Falls turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
