Baseball Recap: Paris Makes It Three in a Row on the Road

Paris won against Bath County last Tuesday with 11 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Wednesday. The Paris Greyhounds never let the Menifee County Wildcats get on the board and left with an 11-0 win. Considering the Greyhounds have won three matches by more than nine runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Jacob Frazier made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Frazier was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.

In other batting news, Will Wilson was a standout: he scored two runs and stole Three bases. while going 1-for-2. Brayden Kemper was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

Paris pushed their record up to 3-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.3 runs on average over those games. As for Menifee County, they are on a 17-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Looking ahead, Paris will take on Robertson County at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Paris knows how to get runs on the board -- the team has finished with ten runs or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Robertson County likes a good challenge. As for Menifee County, they will challenge West Carter at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
