Adding to the longest winning streak in Trinity this week, St. John Bosco beat Alemany 56-14. The victory was the 13th in a row for the team.
St. John Bosco took down the Warriors 56-14 last week, the largest margin of any game. Josh Rosen threw for 196 yards and 3 touchdowns during the win.
He was 12-20 with 2 interceptions.
Rosen put up the best numbers through the air as Jason Negro's team defeated Alemany. Rosen's favorite target this week was Jaleel Wadood, who caught 5 passes for 83 yards.
St. John Bosco's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Braves feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Rosen has thrown for 2,658 yards and 31 touchdowns this season, while Shay Fields has 70 catches for 1,417 yards.
The marquee game in the league this week will be the clash between the Braves and Mater Dei. St. John Bosco enters the game ranked first in the state, while the Monarchs ranks second.
The Braves' offense has racked up 630 points this season, earning them the top spot in the league, while Mater Dei has allowed only 133 on the year.
He has recorded 51 catches for 909 yards this year.
Entering into this week's contest against St. John Bosco, Chase Forrest is short just 182 passing yards to break 2,000 on the season. Accruing a total of 14 touchdowns this year, Forrest has thrown for 1,818 yards with 9 interceptions.
There should be lots of points scored when the Braves and the Monarchs face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, St. John Bosco comes in having scored 630 this season, while Mater Dei has scored 360. The Braves scored 56 points last week as they topped Dean Herrington's team.
