Burlington City moved up to 267 from 295 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in West Jersey - Freedom. The Blue Devils were able to move up by defeating Clayton 40-15.
New Egypt fell to Ewing 44-7 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Palmyra's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. On the ground John Harman chipped in 60 yards.
Harman was a passing and rushing force as the Panthers lost to Cinnaminson.
Harman was the most successful running back in the league this week. He ran for 60 yards on 12 carries as Palmyra fell to the Pirates. Riccardo Champagne also contributed to the rushing game with 12 yards on the ground.
5-foot-8 quarterback Charlie Davis of Maple Shade is the league leader in passing yards this season with 456. He has also thrown 5 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Wade Singletary. The Burlington City star has 12 catches for 207 yards.
The Wildcats are in fourth place, while Florence Township Memorial is in second place.
Burlington City made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 10,576 from 10,939. The improvement was the result of a 40-15 victory over the Clippers last week.
