After a string of three wins, Kennedale's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They were dealt a 70-34 loss at the hands of the Lorena Leopards. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 557th, while the Leopards are ranked 140th).

Kennedale's defeat dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Lorena, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.

Kennedale didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 48-46 loss against Kaufman on the 7th. As for Lorena, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 38-36 win against Jim Ned on the 7th.
