Basketball Game Preview: Dominion Christian Knights vs. Harvester Christian Academy Hawks

The Dominion Christian Knights will venture away from home to face off against the Harvester Christian Academy Hawks at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Dominion Christian is headed into the match having just suffered their biggest defeat since December 15, 2023 on Friday. They had to suffer through a 69-40 loss at the hands of John Milledge Academy. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Emory Maiyer, who went 9 for 22 on her way to 21 points and five steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last four games she's played. Sophia Jackson was another key player, going 6 of 14 on her way to 17 points.

Meanwhile, Harvester Christian Academy posted their biggest win since February 8th on Saturday. Everything went their way against Cherokee Christian as Harvester Christian Academy made off with a 45-21 victory.

Harvester Christian Academy pushed their record up to 3-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. As for Dominion Christian, their loss ended a seven-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 4-2.

Dominion Christian came up short against Harvester Christian Academy when the teams last played on Tuesday, falling 52-45. Can Dominion Christian avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
