The Archbishop Hoban Knights entered their tilt with the Green Bulldogs with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. Archbishop Hoban took down Green 64-45 on Tuesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Archbishop Hoban also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2023.
Archbishop Hoban got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was James Mccarthy out in front who scored 15 points along with three blocks and two steals. It was the first time this season that Mccarthy scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jonas Nichols, who scored 13 points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Archbishop Hoban's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-6. As for Green, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-4.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Archbishop Hoban will take on East at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Archbishop Hoban is facing East at the right time seeing as East is stuck on a ten-game losing streak. As for Green, they will be playing in front of their home fans against McKinley at 6:45 p.m. on Friday.
