When it comes to explaining why Kennedy lost, one person who can't be blamed is My'Shayla Clancy. Despite the final result, she scored 13 points along with six rebounds and four steals.
Paramus Catholic's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Kennedy, they bumped their record down to 0-1 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home dating back to last season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games.
