Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hoke County). They enjoyed a cozy 76-61 victory over the Scotland Fighting Scots on Saturday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Bucks as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Scotland lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Dajuan Gibson, who went 7 for 15 en route to 17 points and five boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Jerrison Dixon, who went 5 of 12 on his way to 13 points.

Hoke County's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-10. As for Scotland, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-11.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hoke County will square off against Lee County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Considering Lee County has lost five straight at home and Hoke County three straight on the road , this one might come down to who's more desperate to change their momentum. As for Scotland, they will take on Southern Lee at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Southern Lee's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three contests.
