While Robstown's win against King wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Cottonpickers narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Brahmas 2-0. The Cottonpickers haven't had any issues with the Brahmas recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Jianna Olguin made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits over four innings pitched. Olguin was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.

Olguin wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Ariel Flores, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Robstown's victory bumped their record up to 14-5. As for King, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-15.
