This season hasn't been kind to the Wakefield Country Day Owls, who are still winless after their sixth contest. They took a serious blow against Randolph-Macon Academy on Friday, falling 43-3. Wakefield Country Day was already down big by the end of the third quarter and they stayed that way after failing to score in the fourth.
Lilly Vargas was Wakefield Country Day's leading scorer, having posted three points.
Anna Padgett held things down on the boards with seven rebounds.
Among those leading the charge was Berkley Bennett, who scored 14 points. Dleanna Hoosain was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Wakefield Country Day dropped their record down to 0-6 with that defeat, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. As for Randolph-Macon Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 6-4.

Randolph-Macon Academy's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Warriors at 4:00 p.m. on January 30th.
