Norte Vista is 7-2 against Ramona since October of 2014, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Norte Vista Braves will be playing in front of their home fans against the Ramona Rams at 7:00 p.m. Norte Vista will be looking to keep their eight-game home win streak alive.
Last Thursday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Norte Vista beat Patriot 28-24. Given Norte Vista's advantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 123rd, while Patriot is ranked 483rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Norte Vista found their leader in underclassman Dreaddie Allain, who rushed for 80 yards and three touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Ramona never let their opponents score on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 37-0 win over Arlington at home. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as Ramona just coasted through the last quarter.
Their wins bumped Norte Vista to 8-1 and Ramona to 5-4.
Norte Vista lost to Ramona at home by a decisive 40-22 margin in their previous meeting back in October of 2022. Thankfully for Norte Vista, Beau Bruins (who rushed for 228 yards and four touchdowns on only 12 carries) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
