After both having extra time off, the Chino Hills Huskies and the Valley View Eagles will dust off their jerseys to face off against one another at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Chino Hills is coming into the match hot, having won their last three games.
Last Saturday, Chino Hills needed a bit of extra time to put away La Habra. They had just enough and edged out the Highlanders 9-8. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Huskies have posted since April 13, 2024.

Lily Stopani spent all eight innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered six earned (and one unearned) runs on 11 hits and racked up eight Ks. Those eight strikeouts gave her a new career-high.
On the hitting side, Brett Lambrecht was incredible, firing off two home runs, four runs, and four RBI while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in home runs. Another player making a difference was Kyler Del Duca, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.
Meanwhile, Valley View suffered their closest defeat since April 5, 2024 last Saturday. They fell just short of Schurr by a score of 4-2. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Jacqueline Divine made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one home run.
Chino Hills pushed their record up to 8-4 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for Valley View, their loss dropped their record down to 7-2.
