Heritage Christian and Village Christian are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2019, but likely not for long. The Warriors will be playing at home against the Crusaders at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Heritage Christian is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.3 runs per game this season.
Heritage Christian took a loss when they played away from home last Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Wednesday. They put the hurt on Golden Valley with a sharp 14-4 victory. The win continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Grizzlies: they've now won four in a row.
Brooklyn Mireles spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and two unearned) runs on five hits and racked up nine Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.
