It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Clovis North had no problem doing just that  on Tuesday.  At the plate,  Kayleigh Lua was  excellent,  going 2-for-3 with one  stolen base, two  RBI,  and one  run. That's the most  RBI  she has posted since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was  Brynn Gentry, who  went 2-for-4 with two  RBI and one  run.
Clovis North is  on a roll lately: they've  won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-5-2 record  this season. The  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Madera, their loss dropped their record down to 18-9.
 Coming up, Clovis North will host Stockdale  at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday. The Mustangs' pitching crew has only allowed 2.5  runs per game  this season, so the Broncos' hitters will have their work cut out for them. Madera does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
