Plainfield North (Plainfield, Ill.) bested Romeoville (Ill.) 55-23 on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a Roberts touchdown run in the first quarter, the Tigers led 42-7 at the half.
With the win Plainfield North extended its winning streak to five games. PN defeated the Wildcats 28-7 last week.
The Plainfield school's standout player in the win was Palendech. The senior quarterback threw one touchdown.
When the two teams played each other last season, the Tigers came away with a 42-0 victory.
Plainfield North (5-1) will play a Southwest Prairie game against Oswego next week, while Romeoville (0-6) will take on Plainfield East also in a Southwest Prairie game.
