Pascack Hills is 8-2 against Fort Lee since January of 2016, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Pascack Hills Broncos will be playing at home against the Fort Lee Bridgemen at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Tuesday, Pascack Hills was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 60-54 to Westwood.
Meanwhile, the matchup between Fort Lee and Dwight Morrow on Tuesday hardly resembled the 2-0 effort from their previous meeting. Fort Lee took a 60-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of Dwight Morrow. While losing is never fun, Fort Lee can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 301st, while Dwight Morrow is ranked 103rd).
Despite the defeat, Fort Lee had strong showings from Guy Vickers, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 14 rebounds, and Devin Jang, who scored 22 points. Jang continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.
Pascack Hills' loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Fort Lee, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.
Pascack Hills didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Fort Lee in their previous meeting back in January of 2023, but they still walked away with a 65-59 victory. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Fort Lee's Isiah Stang, who scored 22 points along with five rebounds. Now that he won't be playing on Thursday, will it be that much easier for Pascack Hills to walk away with another win? There's only one way to find out.
