Southwestern is 8-2 against Iowa-Grant since September of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Wildcats will face off against the Panthers at 7:00 p.m. Southwestern will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
Last Thursday, Southwestern earned a 3-1 win over Boscobel.
Southwestern had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-11, 26-16, 25-5.

Southwestern got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Riley Lewerke out in front who had 21 digs and two assists. Those 21 digs gave Lewerke a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Destiny Furlong, who had nine digs and five aces.
Southwestern was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 16 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in four consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Iowa-Grant, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Boscobel with a sharp 3-0 win on Thursday. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.
Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Iowa-Grant took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-14, 25-15.
The win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 8-6. As for Iowa-Grant, their victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 6-19.
Southwestern came out on top in a nail-biter against Iowa-Grant in their previous matchup back in September, sneaking past 3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wildcats since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
