Trey Scheler and Co. Win Sixth in a Row
Cheyenne Wells picked up their sixth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Trey Scheler. Scheler rushed for 188 yards and three touchdowns on only eight carries. The effort marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in November of 2023. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 120 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Cheyenne Wells' victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-0. A feisty cat fight will be fought when Tigers takes on Granada at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Cheraw found a leader in Tim Provost as the team took down Wiley on Friday. Provost turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 88 yards and three touchdowns, while also picking up 52 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 65 yards.
For the year, Provost has caught 4 touchdowns while averaging 32.2 receiving yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after six games last season, he was only averaging 7.83 receiving yards per game.

Granada Gets a Boost from Coleman in 48-6 Victory
Maddox Coleman was a major factor in Granada's victory over Walsh on Friday. Coleman was dynamite, throwing for 91 yards and two touchdowns.
Unfortunately for Walsh, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Coleman. Back in September of 2023 (the last time Coleman saw the Eagles), he rushed for 153 yards and three touchdowns on only 13 carries, and also threw for 99 yards and two touchdowns.

William Ledbetter Makes It Two for Cheraw
Another Cheraw player making an appearance on this list is William Ledbetter. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 118 rushing yards dating back to last season.
This year, Ledbetter has run in 14 touchdowns while averaging 92 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after seven games last season, he was only averaging 14.43 rushing yards per game.

A Season-Best Effort from Alejandro Perez Leads Granada over Walsh
Alejandro Perez produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Granada to the win on Friday. Perez rushed for 69 yards and two touchdowns, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
On the year, Perez has run in 4 touchdowns while averaging 18 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging one rushing yard per game.
