 The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Trinity Academy who won the one that mattered. The final score came out to 25-22, 15-25,  25-21.
Their offense was headlined by  Audrey Smith and  Jordyn Whitfield, who picked up nine kills apiece. They got some help from  Grace Barrett and her 15 assists.  Ava Deutsch controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.
 Hoisington's loss  came despite strong showings from  Miya Nachtigal and  Reese Vaughn.  Nachtigal  had 12  digs, while  Vaughn  had 18  assists and four  digs.
Trinity Academy is  on a roll lately: they've  won 17 of their last 20 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 31-7 record  this season. As for Hoisington, their loss  ended  a  ten-match streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 38-7.
As of now, neither Trinity Academy nor the Cardinals have any future games scheduled.
