Southeast is on a four-game streak of home wins, while LaBrae is on a nine-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Pirates will host the Vikings at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Southeast's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last three matches.
Southeast came out on top against United on Wednesday thanks in part to the team's impressive six-run third inning. The Pirates blew past the Golden Eagles 12-1. The result was nothing new for the Pirates, who have now won four contests by 11 runs or more so far this season.
Lilly Hayes made a splash while hitting and pitching. She pitched three innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Hayes was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played.

In other batting news, Southeast got a massive performance out of Bailey Morris, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. Those two RBI gave Morris a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Morgan Muncy, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with two runs and one triple.
Southeast kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in five consecutive games.
Meanwhile, LaBrae earned an 8-3 victory over Wickliffe on Friday.
Like Southeast, LaBrae also got a great game from a two-way player: Riley Rowe. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 12 batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off seven hits. Rowe was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with three runs and two doubles.
In other batting news, Shelby Bragg was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs and one stolen base. Vada Allen was another key player, going 3-for-4 with three RBI.
Southeast is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.6 runs on average over those games. As for LaBrae, their victory bumped their record up to 15-1.
Both Southeast and LaBrae just can't seem to miss. The Pirates have been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 9.1 hits per game. However, it's not like LaBrae struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 4.8 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Southeast couldn't quite get it done against LaBrae when the teams last played back in May of 2024 as they fell 7-4. Will the Pirates have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check back here after the action for a full breakdown and analysis of the contest.
