Baseball Recap: Farragut Makes It Six in a Row on the Road

Farragut barely beat Christian Academy of Knoxville the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Admirals were the clear victors by an 8-2 margin over the Warriors on Saturday. The Admirals might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matchups by six runs or more this season.

Farragut pushed their record up to 19-6 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.8 runs over those games. As for Christian Academy of Knoxville, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 22-8-1.

Looking ahead, Farragut will challenge Rossview at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. The Hawks' pitching crew has only allowed 2.9 runs per game this season, so the Admirals' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Christian Academy of Knoxville, they will square off against Baylor at 6:00 p.m. on the 28th.
