Defiance put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Memorial Roughriders by a score of 42-35. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 144th, while the Roughriders are ranked 413th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Defiance pushed their record up to 5-0 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.3 points per game. As for Memorial, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 2-4.
