Jaycee Reams posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Tuesday. She wasn't messing around, striking out 12 batters over seven innings while giving up four earned (and one unearned) runs off seven hits. The pitching appearance was her fourth straight with six or more strikeouts.

Reams' strong effort led Algonac over Yale and she'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Muskrats are a perfect 7-0 against the Bulldogs going back to April of 2019, a lead they'll look to extend.
