It was a good run, but the Freeman Flyers unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a hard 69-54 fall against Hanson. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Freeman of the 73-46 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2023.
Despite the loss, Freeman still got an impressive performance from Rocky Ammann, who scored 17 points along with five blocks. Ammann hasn't dropped below two blocks for seven straight games. Luke Miller was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with six rebounds.
Freeman's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-5. As for Hanson, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 10-6.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Freeman will take on Corsica/Stickney at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Freeman is coming into the game with six straight losses at home, meaning Corsica/Stickney will have to defend against a team hungry for a victory. Hanson will take on Chamberlain at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
