 On Brighton's side,  Nick Griffin was  incredible,  scoring three  runs and  stealing a base while going 4-for-4. Another player making a difference was  Ethan Bertke, who  scored two  runs while going 1-for-3.
 Mullen's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Brighton, the  win was  the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-2.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mullen will take on Overland at 4:15  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Brighton, they will be playing at home against Fort Collins at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Both teams have allowed few  runs on average, (Fort Collins: 2.6, Brighton: 2.9) so any  runs scored will be well earned.
