The Hampton Christian Academy Warriors put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Atlantic Shores Christian 48-24. Hampton Christian Academy has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matchups by 24 points or more this season.
Mikaela Lee continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 23 points along with eight rebounds and seven steals. Lee is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Jayla Crosby, who scored 13 points along with two steals.
Hampton Christian Academy pushed their record up to 12-0 with that win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.6 points per game. As for Atlantic Shores Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3.
Hampton Christian Academy will head out on the road to face off against Greenbrier Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Greenbrier Christian Academy will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Virginia Rankings (they are ranked 309th, while Hampton Christian Academy is ranked 67th). As for Atlantic Shores Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Portsmouth Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Portsmouth Christian is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.
