Forest can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They walked away with a 52-39 victory over Skipstone Academy. The win was just what Forest needed coming off of a 73-5 defeat in their prior game.
Despite the defeat, Skipstone Academy saw an underclassman step up: Nick Cloud scored 16 points. Griffith Teate was another key contributor, scoring 9 points.
Forest's victory bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Skipstone Academy, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Forest will be playing in front of their home fans against Trinity Christian School of Griffin at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Skipstone Academy's road trip will continue as they head out to face Peoples Baptist Academy at 7:30 p.m. on December 7th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Georgia (Peoples Baptist Academy is ranked 452nd, while Skipstone Academy is ranked 441st).
