The Riverview Sharks lost against the King Lions back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Riverview fell 55-45 to King. Riverview has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Julien Barnett continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for King, dropping a double-double on 18 points and 10 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which Barnett has scored at least 25% of King's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ariel Muniz, who scored 6 points along with 5 assists and 5 rebounds.
Riverview's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for King, their win bumped their record up to 1-3.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Riverview will take on Newsome at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for King, they will head out on the road to face off against Freedom at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
