On Friday, Wade Hampton made easy work of Powdersville and carried off a 56-35 win.

The team also got some help courtesy of Makayla Assemian, who scored 10 points along with 7 rebounds and 3 blocks.
Wade Hampton's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Powdersville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-3.
Wade Hampton will look to defend their home court on Monday against Easley at 6:00 p.m. As for Powdersville, they will head out on the road to face off against Greenville at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in South Carolina (Greenville is ranked 69th, while Powdersville is ranked 47th).
