The Northeastern Knights will take on the Winchester Community Golden Falcons at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Northeastern took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They never let Randolph Southern get on the board and left with a 22-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Knights in their matchups with the Rebels: they've now won five in a row.

Kaleb Kress was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with four runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Those four runs gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Logan White, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with three runs and one RBI.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Northeastern kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Randolph Southern only managed two hits.
Meanwhile, Winchester Community hadn't done well against Wapahani recently (they were 0-7 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Golden Falcons were the clear victors by a 10-3 margin over the Raiders. The victory was familiar territory for the Golden Falcons, who have now won five matchups in a row.
The team relied heavily on Landen Porfidio, who went 2-for-5 with three runs, three RBI, and one double. Dravin Whitehead was another key player, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with two runs and one RBI.
Winchester Community pushed their record up to 13-3 with the win, which was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.7 runs over those games. As for Northeastern, their win bumped their record up to 11-4.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Northeastern has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4.1 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Winchester Community struggles in that department as they've been averaging 3.1 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
