Windsor Charter Academy was led to victory by Andrew Schams and Kellen Ball. Schams scored 14 points along with 6 rebounds, while Ball scored 14 points along with 8 assists. That makes it three consecutive games in which Schams has scored at least 25% of Windsor Charter Academy's points. Dayton Long was another key contributor, scoring 9 points.
Meeker's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jace Mobley, who scored 14 points along with 5 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jonathan Fitzgibbons, who scored 8 points along with 11 rebounds.
Windsor Charter Academy has yet to lose a match on the road this season, leaving them with a 4-0 record. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.3 points per game. As for Meeker, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
Windsor Charter Academy will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Palisade at 3:30 p.m. on December 9th. Palisade will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Colorado Rankings (they are ranked 141st, while Windsor Charter Academy is ranked 12th). As for Meeker, they will head out on the road to face off against Vail Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
