Glenbard East has gone a perfect 10-0 against West Chicago recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Rams will challenge the Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.
West Chicago will challenge a team with plenty of momentum: Glenbard East extended their winning streak to seven on Friday. The Rams narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Riverside-Brookfield 45-43.

Glenbard East got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Kedrick Dennis out in front who rushed for 156 yards and four TDs. With that strong performance, Dennis is now averaging an impressive 100.3 rushing yards per game. Glenbard East also got help from Lucas Freese, who showed off his sure hands for 97 receiving yards.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Glenbard East was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 204 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in September of 2024.
Meanwhile, West Chicago earned a 44-34 win over Fenton on Friday. The victory continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Bison: they've now won three in a row.
Glenbard East better keep an eye on Carter Naranjo. He was instrumental in West Chicago's win, rushing for 215 yards and three scores while picking up 8.6 yards per carry. Naranjo has become a key player for the Wildcats: the team is 4-1 when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 1-3 otherwise. Another rusher making a difference was Donovan Hamilton, who rushed for 88 yards and one touchdown.
West Chicago now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Glenbard East, their record is now 8-1.
Friday's contest will pit two of the most dominant signal callers against one another: Michael Nee and Naranjo. Nee just won't slow down this season and has thrown 25 touchdowns while averaging 211.7 passing yards per game. Naranjo has been a dominant force too and has averaged 31.4 passing yards per game.
Everything came up roses for Glenbard East against West Chicago when the teams last played on October 10th, as the team secured a 41-6 win. In that game, the Rams amassed a halftime lead of 28-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
