Dimond faced Chugiak in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Lynx blew past the Mustangs 10-2. Considering the Lynx have won nine contests by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

The win (which was Dimond's third in a row) raised their record to 13-7-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Chugiak, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-11.

Dimond wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 10-1 defeat against Service on the 29th. Chugiak does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
