In what's become a running theme this season, Holy Cross gave their fans yet another huge win on Friday. They really took it to John Paul II for the full four quarters, racking up a 75-40 win at home. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Holy Cross has posted yet this season.
It was another big night for Aaron Garcia, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds. He has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last three times he's played. Carlos Cirlos was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with seven rebounds.
Meanwhile, even though Regents scored an imposing 59 points on Friday, Brentwood Christian still came out on top. Brentwood Christian took their match against Regents 72-59. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Brentwood Christian.
Holy Cross is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season. As for Brentwood Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 13-15.
