Jupiter Christian found their leader in underclassman Emilia Edgar, who scored 23 points along with five assists and five rebounds. That makes it nine consecutive games in which Edgar has scored at least a third of Jupiter Christian's points. Savannah Altman was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Leonard's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Jupiter Christian, their win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 6-4.
Leonard will face off against Forest Hill at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Jupiter Christian will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Sports Leadership & Management at 11:30 a.m. on January 19th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Florida (Sports Leadership & Management is ranked 427th, while Jupiter Christian is ranked 440th).
