There's no place like home for The Westminster Academy Lions, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat SmartEn Sports Academy 41-0 at home. The result was nothing new for Westminster Academy, who have now won five matches by 24 points or more so far this season.
Anthony Barbar had an outrageously good game as he threw for 356 yards and five touchdowns while completing 90.9% of his passes. The team also got some help courtesy of Dwayne Wimbley Jr., who picked up 155 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Westminster Academy's win was their fifth straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 7-1. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 31.0 points per game. As for SmartEn Sports Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-6.
Westminster Academy will be playing at home against Bradenton Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Bradenton Christian is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last five games. As for SmartEn Sports Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Cardinal Mooney at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Cardinal Mooney presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than SmartEn Sports Academy in Florida (Cardinal Mooney is ranked 145th, while SmartEn Sports Academy is ranked 561st).
