Beecher will be defending their home turf for the first time on Thursday when they go up against Ecorse at 7:00 PM. It might come down to the wire as the game is expected to be close.
Everything went Beecher's way against Flint Southwestern Academy/Northwestern last Thursday as they made off with a 24-0 win. Beecher was expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the rankings had forecast.
Ecorse came within a touchdown against Denby last week, but wound up with a 8-19 loss.
Beecher's victory lifted them to 1-1 while Ecorse's loss dropped them down to 1-1. We'll find out if Beecher can add another positive mark to their record or if Ecorse can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Beecher's step.
