Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Seneca). Everything went their way against the Iroquois Braves on Tuesday as they made off with  a  12-2 victory. The Bobcats not only won  on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win  since May 9, 2024 (when they won  11-1).
The team  relied heavily on  Kendall Yosten, who  got on base  in all four of his plate appearances with one  home run, three  runs,  and three  RBI. That's the most  runs  he has posted since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was  Greg Rupp, who  went 3-for-4 with two  runs, two  doubles,  and one  stolen base.
 Seneca  hit smart and  finished the game with only one  strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Iroquois struck out six times.
Seneca's first  win this season bumped their record up to 1-9. As for Iroquois,  they are  on  a  13-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.
 We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Seneca will  challenge  rival Eisenhower  at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Iroquois is set to  take on  their familiar foe Youngsville  at 4:30  p.m.  on Wednesday.
