The Riesel Indians's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their eighth straight loss. They took a 44-35 hit to the loss column at the hands of Bremond. Riesel has struggled against Bremond recently, as their game on Friday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Trent Hickerson and Pistol Tullos certainly did their best on Friday to try and avoid the loss. Hickerson scored eight points along with 12 rebounds and three steals, while Tullos scored ten points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Tullos has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Cameron Phillips, who scored six points along with eight rebounds.
Riesel has been struggling recently, as they've lost nine of their last ten games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-14 record this season. As for Bremond, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record this season.
Riesel will head out on the road to square off against Dawson at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bremond, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Marlin at 7:15 p.m. Marlin is coming into the contest hot, having won their last nine games.
