There's no place like home for Danville, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. Everything went their way against the Barbourville Tigers on Saturday as they made off with a 14-1 victory. The Admirals might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matches by six runs or more this season.

Ethan Burchett tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out six over five innings pitched.

At the plate, Fox Spears was incredible, going 1-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Wyatt Gale, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

Danville always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .647. The last time their OBP was this high was back in March.

Danville's record now sits at 20-8. As for Barbourville, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 14-9.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Danville beat the Tigers by a score of 10-3 later that day.
