Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Citrus Hill). They blew past the Rancho Christian Eagles 20-1 on Thursday. Winning may never get old, but the Hawks sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.
Taylor Macaulay made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances. Those three runs gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, Tatum Pino was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with five RBI, two doubles, and one run. Those five RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Alyssa Lupercio, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2.
