In what's become a running theme this season, the Show Low Cougars gave their fans yet another huge victory on Friday. They blew past Winslow 57-32. The victory was familiar territory for Show Low who now have six in a row.
Show Low got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Raquel Wilson out in front who scored 12 points along with five rebounds and three steals. Wilson has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last 14 times she's played. Another player making a difference was Mikenzie Kulish, who scored 11 points along with three steals.
Despite the loss, Winslow saw an underclassman step up: Taylin Puhuhefvaya scored 12 points along with six rebounds.
Show Low's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 23-1. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.0 points per game. As for Winslow, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-16 record this season.
