The Cimarron Bluejays are on the road again  on Tuesday to play the Colby Eagles at 4:00  p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
 Last Thursday, Cimarron made easy work of Ness City  and carried off  a  16-1 win.
 Meanwhile, Colby waltzed into their contest  on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. Everything went their way against the Larks as they made off with  a  15-4 victory.
  Ryler Carter made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She  tossed five innings while giving up just two earned  (and two unearned) runs off   five  hits. Carter was also solid in the batter's box,  going 1-for-3 with two  RBI and a  double.
 In other batting news,  Jalyssa Sabatka was  incredible,  scoring four  runs and  stealing a base while going 3-for-3. She is on a roll when it comes to  hits, as she's  now  hit three or more in the last five games she's  played.  Morgan Hills was another key contributor,  going 2-for-4 with a  home run, two  runs,  and a  double.
 Cimarron's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Colby, their victory bumped their record up to 6-4.
 Cimarron took their  win against Colby  in their previous matchup  back in May of 2023 by a conclusive  13-3. The rematch might be a little tougher for Cimarron since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
