Caden Bailey Goes Supernova in Hilmar Defeat
Caden Bailey continued his hot streak on Friday by dropping his 12th-straight game (dating back to last season) with at least 100 rushing yards. He rushed for 167 yards and two touchdowns on only 15 carries. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 80-yard run.
Sonora had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Bailey it was a similar story. Back in September of 2023 (the last time Bailey saw the Wildcats), he rushed for 106 yards and a touchdown on only 14 carries.

Sonora Wins Sixth-Straight Thanks to Brody Speer
Sonora picked up their sixth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Brody Speer. Speer turned in nothing short of a gem, picking up 40 receiving yards and a touchdown, while also rushing for 37 yards.
Sonora pushed their record up to 6-0 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. Speer and Sonora will venture away from home to square off against Hughson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Byington Made His Presence Known in Sonora's 45-28 Victory
Sonora picked up their sixth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Cash Byington. Nobody could stop Byington as he rushed for 112 yards and three touchdowns on only ten carries. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in rushing yards.
For the season, Byington has run in 7 touchdowns while averaging 66 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after six games last season, he had two rushing touchdowns.

A Season-Best Effort from Eli Ingalls Leads Sonora over Hilmar
On Friday, Sonora got the W thanks in part to Eli Ingalls playing the best football he has all season. Ingalls rushed for 123 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 40 yards and a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
On the year, Ingalls has thrown 6 touchdowns (and and only 1 picks) while averaging 77.8 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging one rushing yard per game. This year he is averaging 41.83 rushing yards.
