Meanwhile, Crosspoint Christian came up short against Varsity Opponent two weeks ago and fell 35-22.
Crosspoint Christian's loss came about despite a quality game from Ella Cobb, who dropped a triple-double on 11 points, 12 rebounds, and ten steals. Cobb is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season.
Rivers of Life Christian dropped their record down to 1-5 with that loss, which was their third straight at home. As for Crosspoint Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-11.
Friday's match is shaping up to be a scrappy matchup: Rivers of Life Christian haven't given up the ball easily this season, having only averaged 8 turnovers per game. It's a different story for Crosspoint Christian, though, as they've been averaging 38.7 turnovers per game. Given Rivers of Life Christian's sizeable advantage in that area, Crosspoint Christian will need to find a way to close that gap.
