The Southern California Yeshiva Hawks were the 40-37 winner over the Preuss UCSD Tritons when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. Southern California Yeshiva took a 33-27 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tritons. Southern California Yeshiva has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Southern California Yeshiva's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Adin Factor, who scored eight points along with eight rebounds and two blocks. Factor has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last five times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Nadav Aron, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds and two blocks.
Southern California Yeshiva's loss dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Preuss UCSD, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 6-19 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Southern California Yeshiva will take on the Legionnaires at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Preuss UCSD, they will be playing at home against the Griffins at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Cambridge School is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road.
