Bradley has gone a perfect 10-0 against Hermitage recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Bears will be playing at home against the Hermits at 5:00 p.m. Bradley's pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so Hermitage's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
Bradley managed to slip by Bearden the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. Bradley came up short against Bearden on Tuesday, falling 11-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat Bradley has suffered since March 13, 2025.
Meanwhile, Hermitage got themselves on the board against Strong on Monday, but Strong never followed suit. They blew past the Bulldogs 21-0. The Hermits might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four games by ten runs or more this season.
Aubrey Ramos made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March.
In other batting news, Sarah Huitt was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with four stolen bases, three runs, and four RBI. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Kayleea Keller, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with six stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.
Hermitage has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-9 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. As for Bradley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-4.
Everything went Bradley's way against Hermitage when the teams last played on April 7th, as Bradley made off with a 16-0 victory. Will the Bears repeat their success, or do the Hermits have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
